Rosella Uppole Obituary
PEKIN ~ Rosella Francis Uppole, 98, of Pekin, passed away at 4:53 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Hopedale Nursing Home.
Born June 26, 1920 in Pekin to Lester Rhoades and Nellie Pidreya, she was raised by her mother and Paul Marsch. She married Ira Uppole on November 12, 1937. He died in May, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her mother and step-father.
Surviving are one son, Dale (Donna) Uppole of Pekin; one daughter, Shirley (Lee) McDonald of Pekin; four grandchildren and many great and great-great-grndchildren.
A homemaker, Rosella enjoyed animals, sewing, scrapbooking, painting and traveling.
Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Pastor Roger Turner will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 10 TAPS Lane, Pekin, Illinois 61554.
