I had the privilege of working for Sal during the summers when I was in high school and college. I learned so much about being an electrician. I went on to become an electrical engineer but my summers working for Sal led me to work in electrical contracting for most of my career. I will always remember how much time he spent teaching us young kids.

Sal gave me my first job right out of high school. He and his family taught me more than just being an electrician, being a good and responsible individual. You was my role model. Thank you. We will meet again one day.

To Sal's family,
I have so many happy memories of gatherings at McGregor Dr. as well as the 'old house', including my surprise bridal shower in that basement.
And in those memories, Sal was always so helpful and caring. The true testament to who he was is reflected in his family.
My sincere condolences for your loss, and my heartfelt gratitude for having known him.

Dad, there is no way I can condense nearly 65 years of your love and care for me into this message, but what I feel, and what I have always felt, is overwhelming gratitude that I was born to you and Mom. The two of you were the first ones to teach me to love and have faith in God, and that family is always more important that any of the human issues that we live with every day. Because of you and Mom, our family has always been a source of joy, strength, laughter, faith, and love for your children, grandchildren, friends, and all who knew you. I wish that all of the children I worked with in my 40 years as a Catholic educator could have known the kind of family life that we had, and still have. I will never have the words to thank you and Mom for dedicating your nearly-66 years of marriage to providing a faith-filled, loving home to all of our family and friends, but know that I will always love you very much and that I am forever grateful.
