Shirley E. Deppish

Shirley E. Deppish of Rising Sun, MD passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 73. She was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Harry and Margaret McGonigal. Shirley was a retired PCO Dispatcher for the police department. In her free time, she loved to be outside and enjoyed gardening. Shirley had a particular liking for football and NASCAR. She was an avid New England Patriots fan and liked Penn State at the college level. Shirley enjoyed following Terry Labonte during his NASCAR career. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William "Fred" Deppish; son, Lee Walls; brother, Robert McGonigal; and sister, Edna Rohrbaugh. She is survived by her daughter, Debi Adams (Bobby) of Rising Sun, MD; daughter, Kay Troxell (Greg) of South Carolina; son, Jimmy Walls of South Carolina; brother, Harry McGonigal of Baltimore, MD; granddaughter, Angelina Dibert (Michael) of Middletown, DE; granddaughter, Shannon Walls of South Carolina; and best friend, Evelyn Anderson of Havre de Grace, MD. Shirley is also survived by six great grandchildren. Services for Shirley will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
