Sylvia Therese Traskie

Sylvia Therese Traskie , 79, died peacefully when the angels came and took her on September 30, 2010 at Patuxent River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Laurel. She has been a Laurel resident since 1969. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church and the Polish Club of College Park #3191. Ms. Traskie worked for the main office of Chevy Chase Bank in the record keeping department where she retired. She was preceded in death by her late husband Don Traskie. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Marie Traskie; sisters Betsy and Jeri; brothers Leonard and Eugene; grandchildren Jason and Bradley and great-grandchildren Star and Lola. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 12 Noon at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary’s Place, Laurel, MD 20707. Inurnment will take place on Thursday, October 7, 2010at 10:45 am at the MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
