Theresa was born on November 6, 1953 and passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Theresa was a resident of Michigan at the time of passing. Visitation will be held at Theresa's home, 6805 Cairn Highway, Kewadin, MI 49648 beginning with the 7:00 p.m. wake service on Thursday, June 22, 2017 until after the Sunday wake service, her home will be open. There will be an evening wake service on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 22-25) at 7:00 p.m. at her home, where you may also visit the sacred fire. Theresa's funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kewadin Indian Mission Tabernacle. Burial will follow in the Kewadin Indian Mission Cemetery. Vigil Service at the Theresa Shananaquet's House at 7:00 PM on June 22, 2017.
