Gary & Carol (Erhardt/Cox) Everding
April 1, 2016
I, Carol Everding, am the first cousin of Barbara. We started doing genealogy on our family this past fall. Six of the seven children of Henry and Martha Cox were adopted after Martha died in 1914. Evelyn, Barbara's mother was the youngest of the children, and was adopted by Ralph and May Badger in Adel, Iowa. We have not been able to locate all the children in the family. Today, (1 April 2016) we found Barbara and her spouse Thomas. We are sorry and extend our condolences to your family and thank them for Thomas's service to our great country. I do possess a picture of Evelyn, Joe and Buddy from about 1932 or 33 that i am willing to share an electronic copy with a family member that is interested. We are so sorry we were not able to find Evelyn's family members sooner. Again, you have our sincerest sympathies.
