Raymond lived across the street from Jo`s parents from his seventh grade year on. When Jo`s family visited her parents, Raymond rode Renee on his shoulders when she and Jimmy would come over to visit and see the cows because she was young enough to be a little afraid of the big animals. Kim was too young to visit.
Jo`s son, Lloyd, her nephew, Troy and Raymond grew up together.
Jo was part of our lives from the time we returned to Fordyce , both during her visits and after she moved back "home."
We went to church together over 30 years. We will miss her humor and candor.
She loved her Lord and we have no doubt that she`s with Him. As Renee said, perhaps St. Peter will let her be one of the greeters at the Pearly Gates since she was so good at it.
