Mr. Sanzaro (Vincenzo, Jim, James) was truly an unexpected gift in my life. Following his Honor Flight trip in 2016, we began corresponding - and never stopped. His very first note had me laughing!! Through the letters a true friendship grew. We "discussed" so many different topics, along with shared many jokes! I still have every letter. How it brightened my day to see an envelope with his return address in my mailbox. So grateful for Mr. Sanzaro's service and his friendship. His loyal penpal/friend in Colorado, Ronni Heyman

JRS once told me a story about looking down and how you wouldn't see that penny on the ground. I know somebody reading this knows how to tell it better. But my memories are special. Sadie will miss her desert Grandpa and all the love he had for us. Thank you for allowing us in your life.
