William A. Bartolin (Cupe), 58, of Masury, OH, passed away at 1:25AM Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Sharon Regional Health Care Center following a courageous battle with lung and brain cancer. William was born on April 21, 1951 in Sharon the son of Harry and Margaret (Escover) Bartolin and was a 1969 graduate of Brookfield High School. He also attended ETI Technical College in the Electronics Trade. William was currently working at Sweeny Chevrolet in Boardman, OH in the Wholesale Parts Department. William was a member of New Life Baptist Church and also attended The Valley Church where his son is currently the worship leader. He performed in two church praise bands and with the 724 band. His passion for music was the love of his life. He was well known for his excellence on guitar performance. He performed professionally and was a co-writer with friend, Frank Secich, in the popular, local Youngstown area 70's rock band, Blue Ash. William is survived by his wife the former Darla J. Dudash and on October 7, 2009, they would have celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his father and mother of Florida; a son Sean C. Bartolin of the home; three brothers Larry (Joan) Bartolin of Hartford, Jim (Janice) Bartolin of Raleigh, NC and Matthew (Donna) Bartolin of Palm Bay, Fl; a sister-in-law MaryAnn Krlin of Hermitage; many nieces and nephews and by a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a younger brother Mark Bartolin. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at PLACE. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 5-8 PM in the Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel, Brookfield. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to World Help (www.causelife.org) to provide life saving, clean water for those who desperately need it in foreign countries.
