Walter Lohoefener Obituary

CHILHOWIE, Va. – Walter E. Lohoefener passed away Sept. 17, 2007.
He had been a five-year resident of Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie. Walter was born in Alma, Mo., in 1926. After serving in the armed services during World War II, he worked as an auditor for the Western Auto Company. He resided in the Seattle area until moving to Damascus in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen.
He is survived by one sister, Carol Behm of Butler, Mo., and his nephew is David Tebbenkamp, D.D.S., of Konnarock, Va.
A memorial service is scheduled at St. Matthew Church in Konnarock on Sept. 30, 2007, at 3 p.m.
