ANITA LOUISE SAFFORD-HAVEN Anita Louise Safford-Haven passed away peacefully at her home on October 7th, 2016 at the age of 79. She was born on September 14, 1937 to Ellerie and Elenore Safford in Pasco, WA. She lived most of her life in Kenne-wick where she worked for 42 years in the Retail Clerks Union as a grocery clerk; and a few years in grocery store bakeries. Anita loved music, dancing, crocheting, cooking and baking holiday treats to give away to friends and family. She also enjoyed traveling in the RV, especially trips to the beach. She is survived by her husband, Don, whom she married in 1980; son, Bruce Haste (Helen VerMeer), daughters Vicki Swenson (Doug), Linda Metz, and Nancy LaBonte (Andy), stepdaughters Cheryl Haven, and Shannon Merenz (Max); Grandchildren Becky, Jennifer, Brett, Michael, Sarah, Ellie, Paul and Emily, and four Great-grandchildren; brothers Gene and Wesley, sister Marge, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
