BETTY LOU PETERSON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Betty Lou Peterson, 84, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away surrounded by her family April 20th, 2016 after long battles with lung, heart and cancer challenges. She is survived by her 5 children, Vickie and Phillip Johnson, Thomas and Janet Peterson, Cathy and Robert Graham, Merrell and Diana Peterson, and Marvel and Amber Peterson, and grandchildren Pennie Wredburg (Burt), Sandie Johnson, Dandie Johnson, Tara Russell (Rob), Jill Adcock (Phil), Kelsey Peterson, Jeremy Graham, Michelle Graham, Mark Peterson, Zachary Silva-Peterson, Alyvia Peterson, and 10 great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Max Peterson, her brothers Doyle Lisonbee and Thomas Lisonbee, her sister Marilyn Lisonbee-Rich, her father Merrell Lisonbee, her mother Lena Mast (Lisonbee), and her grandson, Matthew Peterson. Betty was an inspiration to many, enjoyed painting at the Senior Center in Kennewick, baking, gardening, and doing things 'her way'. She grew up in eastern Utah, riding horses, cheerleading, and dancing as often as she could. She married Max Peterson in 1950, had 3 children (Vickie, Tom and Cathy) while they still lived in Utah, and then moved to Washington in 1955 where they had 2 more children (Merrell and Marvel). There will be a viewing Friday, April 29th, 2016 from 5-8pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S Union, Kennewick, WA with Funeral Services there on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (reception following at the funeral home).
