BETTY ROBERTS Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home Betty Roberts was born on April 18, 1930 to Elizabeth "Libby" and Jack Ungerecht in Bismarck, North Dakota. When Betty was five years old the family moved from North Dakota to Pasco, Washington which became her home for 82 years. Betty graduated from Pasco High School in 1948 and began her career as a full charge bookkeeper for many years. She was employed by Whitefish Lumber, D and S Automotive, Port A Build, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and Columbia Grain and Feed. Betty was often heard praising her greatest joys in life which were her three daughters Pam, Marie, and Lisa. In 1974 Betty married Joe Roberts and they were lovingly devoted to each other for nearly 43 years. Betty and Joe shared many great memories, including their love to travel where they looked forward to their yearly trips to Black Butte Ranch with a fun group of friends and to the warmth of Arizona. In the past several years, Joe became a loving caregiver to Betty while at home and later visiting her each night to make sure she ate dinner and ice cream. Betty loved to cook and created a warm and loving environment where she hosted many gatherings with family and friends. Betty instilled the importance of family gatherings to her girls, who continue to carry on this tradition today. Betty was an avid reader, meticulous seamstress, and she enjoyed crafting, especially counted cross stitching. For many years Betty's yearly project was to make an intricate counted cross stitch Christmas stocking. Each family member and a few close friends have a treasured stocking. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eva Mae Schouviller, Loris Cousineau, and brother Cliff Ungerecht. Survivors include her dedicated husband Joe, loving brother Roger Ungerecht (Ilene), daughters Pam Voycheske Wright (Rick), Marie Voycheske Mosley (John), Lisa Voycheske Johnson (Gordon).
