BEVERLY ANN CORBETT SCHMIDT Beverly Ann Corbett Schmidt was born October 13, 1932 and went to be with Jesus on June 10, 2017. Our mom had the most infectious laugh you have ever heard, and she is well known for her beautiful and almost always present smile. She grew up in West Seneca, NY with three siblings and a loving mom and dad. Mom was a goer and a doer! She was an accomplished pianist and a cheerleader for four years at Ebenezer High School, where at age fourteen, she met the only love of her life, Clayton (Dick) Schmidt. They married in 1951 and soon shipped out to England where they began their adventurous life. In 1954 they followed Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt to Kennewick where they built a beautiful life and family. They were blessed with two daughters, Teddi and Traci. Mom was a happy homemaker who loved to sew our clothes, and bake delicious desserts. She LOVED to sing! The Kennewick Nazarene church was a huge part of our lives, and mom sang tenor in the choir well into her 70's. Sweet Adelines was another love of Moms, and she loved performing around town in her barbershop quartet, The Good Medicine Four. She was an AVON representative for 35 years, as well, forming many deep friendships with her customers. Our family had so much fun picnicking and water skiing with our boat, and taking four week trips with our tent trailer. When Dad retired in 1984, they soon became snowbirds pulling their fifth wheel up to six months a year. Mom took great pride in her four grandchildren, and was thrilled to also be blessed with two great grandchildren. Mom we love you forever and ever. See you in heaven! Services will be at the Kennewick Nazarene Church at 11:00 on Saturday, June 17.
