CARMEN ELIZABETH (CEYCE) CURTIS Einan's at Sunset Carmen Elizabeth (CeyCe) Curtis, 73, surrounded by the love of her family went home to heaven on August 29, 2016, at The Hospice House in Kennewick after a short battle with cancer. Carmen was born in Walla Walla, WA on January 26, 1943, to Milton and Ruby Sheehan Curtis. She grew up and spent most of her life in Kenne-wick. For the past ten months she has resided at Brookdale Meadow Springs in Richland where she made many new friends. Carmen married David McCarter in 1960. The couple had two daughters, Kelly and Christina, before divorcing. With her marriage to Thomas Larson Sr. she became the mother of Deborah and Tom. She later married Paul Espinoza and they had a son, Ramiro. Each of her husbands predeceased her. Carmen was passionate about helping others and she volunteered for many organizations, starting with her children's schools. Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christina, son Thomas Larson Jr, and granddaughter Amanda Mooney. She is survived by her brother, Paul Curtis (Katie) in Pendleton, OR, daughters Kelly Mooney (Bob) in Finley, WA, and Deborah Taylor (Justin) in Bellevue, WA, son Ramiro Espinoza in Tacoma, WA, stepsons Ricky, Andy, Joey, and Mike Espinoza, grandchildren Ember Sitton, Michael Durkin, Amy Taylor, Emily Lucey, and Jack Taylor, and nephews Matthew Curtis, Kipp Curtis, James Choate-Deeds, and Scott Deeds. The family would like to thank Dr. Vinci, the staff of the acute care unit at Kadlec Hospital, the staff at the Hospice House, and the staff at Brookdale Meadow Springs, especially Brittany and Holly, for their kind, compassionate, and professional care given to Carmen. On Friday, September 2, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm there will we public visitation at Einan's at Sunset with a graveside to follow at Sunset Gardens, both located at 915 ByPass Hwy in Richland.
