CARRIE MARIE KING ORAVETZ Carrie Marie King Oravetz was born in Mount Vernon Illinois September 26th 1944 to Melvin and Carrie Helen King. She lived her life with energy and tenacity. She loved to debate any topic but was always willing to agree to disagree. When she was young she worked as a Go Go Dancer and always loved to dance. She passed on the love for dance to her daughter and granddaughters. Later she became a bookkeeper and worked in the insurance industry. She loved computers and could often be found chatting on facebook. Later in life she moved to Las Vegas NV. She often praised the warm weather but missed seeing her family. She loved all animals and was often housing strays in need of love and shelter. Carrie Marie touched many lives during her 72 years. Her family is thankful that her husband of 17 years, Larry Oravetz, was by her side when she was unexpectedly called to heaven on January 17th, 2017. She had one daughter Carrie Ann Lundgren and one foster daughter Tima Goiri who she loved as her own. Carrie is survived by her Husband Larry Oravetz of Las Vegas, NV. Sisters Ruth Ann, Holly, Rosemary, Melinda J and Melissa Jane. As well as her daughters Carrie Ann Lundgren and Tima Marriot Goiri both of Kennewick, WA and Christine of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughters Carrie Cassandra Guajardo Lopez of Seattle, WA and Terra Supnet Olsen of Denver, CO, grandson Jared Goiri of Kennewick, WA and numerous Great grandchildren both by birth and by love. Memorial Services will be held at Holy Mac & Deli 3801 S Zintel Way Suite 110 Kennewick, WA 99337 January 29th, 2017 at 11AM.
