CATHERINE "CATHIE" LEE ALBERS Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Cathie "Little Bit" Albers, of Kennewick, passed away on her 63rd birthday in Seattle. Cathie Lee was born October 15, 1953 in Richland, Washington to Charles and Hazel Abel. She was one of five children. Cathie was proud of her two children from a previous marriage, Chanin Giddens and Kyle Martin. She married Bobby Dale Albers in August 2004. Cathie's biggest interests were crafting, sewing, and agate hunting. Her greatest love, other than Bobby, was with Combat Vets International (CVI) Chapter 3. She was saddened when her health declined and she had to limit her activities. One of her biggest disappointments was when she could no longer ride with Bobby. Cathie was a fighter, rarely letting anything get her down. She experienced open heart surgery, a baseball sized brain tumor, cancer, stroke; she fought with everything in her. Cathie taught me the most important lesson in my life, what it was like to experience unconditional love. She will be missed by everyone. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Dale, mother Hazel, two children and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 28, 2016, 12:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street., Kennewick. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral homes.com.
