CHARLEEN HURSON ENTROP Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Charleen Hurson Entrop, 69, passed away peacefully in her home in Kennewick, Washington on March 11, 2017. She was born May 21, 1947 in Spokane, Washington. Charleen loved spending time painting, writing, and taking care of others. She took in many foster children throughout her life, and found peace in mourning with those who mourn. She touched innumerable lives and will be greatly missed. Charleen graduated from Kennewick High School in 1965 and received her Bachelors of Arts from Brigham Young University. She was an editor for the Tri-City Herald and at Hanford. She served numerous missions for her church, including missions in Texas, South Chicago, Zion's Camp and as a Family History missionary. Charleen is survived by her husband, Jerry Entrop; her children, Rick, Debbie, Tom, Peggy, Carolyn, Romona, Berniece, Erin, Sandy and Randal; many, many grandchildren; her brothers, Joe and Jim Hurson; and her sisters, Margaret (Peg) Hurson and Kathleen Pond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen McHugh Hurson and Judge Daniel Joseph Hurson. A memorial service to honor her life will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 515 S. Union Street in Kennewick.
