EILEEN CHASSELS COPPEANS MANDELL Mueller's Chapel of the Falls Eileen Chassels Coppeans Mandell, 76 passed away October 23, 2016. She was born April 18, 1940 to William and Edith Chassels (Overbeck) in St. Louis, MO. Eileen Mandell graduated Riverview Gardens High School, St. Louis, MO; and Washington State University, Richland, WA. She married Carl Coppeans August 19, 1961 and had 3 children, Deanna, Jennifer and Christopher. She later married William Mandell on July 31, 1993 and celebrated 23 wonderful years.She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority since 1965, a confirmed member of Friedens Chapel UCC, St. Louis then later attended Bethel UCC, St. Louis and most recently active at First United Methodist Church, Kennewick where she was a member of JOY group and had taught the Toddler Sunday School class. She was a volunteer at Kadlec Auxiliary and volunteered as recently as Wednesday, October 12th. Eileen worked at Pet Milk, then as a bank teller and insurance claims adjuster. Most recently her dream job as a social worker was assisting developmentally disabled adults for Tri Cities Residential Services. She enjoyed dancing,scrapbooking, camping, travelling and supporting her church. Eileen Mandell is survived by husband William Mandell, children Deanna Coppeans, Missouri; Jennifer (Lee) Keller, Arkansas; Christopher (Amy) Coppeans, M.D., Washington; Carol Mandell, Florida; Robert (Eileen) Mandell, Oklahoma; "Daughter of the Heart" Diane Wade, North Carolina; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Chassels. Visitation will be at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, 314 West First, Kennewick, Washington Thursday, November 3 from 3 to 7pm and Friday, November 4 from 1 to 5pm. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at the nearby First Methodist Church, 421 West Kennewick Avenue, Kennewick, Washington on Friday, November 4 at 5:30pm with a reception at the church following ceremony. A Celebration of Life gathering and reflections open house will be held at Pasta House Co., Clocktower Place, 11202 West Florissant Ave. (at 270), Florissant, MO on Monday, November 7 from 3:30-7pm.
