Curtis Roy Lair, 52, passed away December 11, 2013 after a short but strong battle with cancer at Kadlec Medical Center. He was surrounded by his wife, daughters, sister, brother, and good friends Doug and Karen.

Curt was born on April 27, 1961 in Longview, WA to Wallace and Margaret Lair. Shortly after Curt was born his family relocated to Kennewick, WA. where he grew up and became a long time employee of Boise Cascade for 33 years. He loved his job, and many long lasting friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, and most of all he enjoyed swimming with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his Wife Veronica. Children: Ashley Lair Tompkins (Tyler), Alyssa Lair Ducat (Matt) and Amburly Lair all of the the Tri-Cities. His 8 grandchildren: Aubree, Averie, Ashtyn, Gavin Easton, Kasedy, Karsynn and Jensen, his sister Karen Dopps (of Pasco), Brothers Don Lair (Bobbi) of Kelso, WA., Jim Lair (Connie) of Kennewick and his former wife Kelly Hall (of Kennewick).

He was preceded in death by his Father Wallace Lair, Mother Margaret Lair and Brother David Lair.

Curt's daughters are holding a celebration of life on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 4:00PM, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 640 N. Columbia Center Blvd. in Kennewick.
