DONALD J. FREEMAN Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Donald J. Freeman, 79, of Kennewick, Washington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017. Don was born September 30, 1937 and only weighed 2lbs so life was a challenge for him from the beginning. Don always maintained a positive and uplifting attitude and never let his beginning dictate the journey he would take. He was a fighter from the start. His real journey started when he married the love of his life, Neta on October 24, 1955 in Caney, Kansas. They were married for 62 years. Don and Neta moved to Buhl, Idaho shortly after being married where they started their family together. They had four children and then proceeded on their journey and moved to Kennewick, Washington. Don began his career with Doyle Brothers, delivering fuel and went on to become a local business man by owning his own Conoco Gas Station. Don's kindness and empathy for those in need caused him to give away most of his profit and so he moved on to employment with other local businesses. Don retired from Les Schwab and left a large base of loyal customers as a front end technician. Don is survived by his wife Neta, his four children; daughter Cathy Halverson (Ivan), son Jay Freeman, daughter Debbie Freeman, daughter Pam Prock (Steve), numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home at 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick on Friday, January 13th, 2017 at 2:00 PM, with a reception downstairs to follow. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral homes.com.
