FLOYD L. GEORGE Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Floyd L. George, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was born in Stonewall County, Texas to B.B. George and Francis Barker George, on November 19, 1920, the youngest of five girls and four boys. Floyd was a member of International Firefighters Hanford Local and Lakeside Gem and Mineral Club. He was a veteran of WWII and a past 4-H leader. He worked for 33 years at Hanford as a firefighter. He enjoyed gardening, rock hounding and family. Floyd is survived by children Michael, Linda (Bill) Blankingship, Larry, and Beverly (John) Love, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by family in Texas. There will be a graveside service Friday, July 28, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick.
