FRANCES SCHEMEL Frances Schemel age 85 of Richland, died on March 29, 2017. Frances, was born on July 16, 1931 in Buffalo, New York to Frank and Frances Maciejewski. Frances married, John Henry Schemel on June 13, 1953. Frances was a mom and claimed she never retired. She was a member of the Catholic Church and lived in the Tri-Cities for 41 years. Frances enjoyed travelling, especially cruising on Holland, America cruise line, reading and doing puzzles. Frances is survived by her sons; John Henry (Debbie) Schemel Jr., Robert (Chris) Schemel, James (Brenda) Schemel, daughter; Mary (Mike) Wilbricht, granddaughters; Jennifer (Steve) Kopp, Kristine (Andy) Krejsa, Sara (Matt) Garcia, great grandchildren; Daenon and Hayden Kopp, Lucas and Matthew Krejsa, brothers; Frank (Margaret) Maciejewski, Florian (Susan) Maciejewski and sister; Florence (Richard) Borowicz. She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Frances Maciejewski, spouse; John Henry Schemel, children; Helen and Richard, grandson; John Henry III. Frances will be inurned in St. Johns the Baptist Cemetery in Alden, New York at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to your favorite charity in her name.
