HENRY S. GORDON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Henry S. Gordon, 85 of Kennewick, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2016. He is joyfully reunited at last with his beloved wife, Margie, who preceded him in death in 2004. Henry is survived by his son, Jeff Gordon, daughter Jana Gordon, sister Shirley Horntvedt, and brother Leon Gordon, as well as many more extended family and friends. Henry was a proud member of Ironworkers Local #14 for 58 years. He counted his union brothers and sisters as family, and was forever union proud. A veteran of the Korean War, Henry was honorably discharged in 1957. He often spoke of his time in the service and counted the experience as some of his favorite memories. After leaving the service, Henry settled in Kennewick and established a loving home full of fun, friends, and happiness. After retiring, Henry greatly enjoyed his favorite activities, including RV camping, fishing, woodworking, playing cards, and watching old Western movies and television shows. The Gordon family would like to express deep gratitude to the staff and caregivers of Visiting Angels and Tri-Cities Chaplaincy. Their dedicated caring made it possible for dad to remain at home, which meant the world to him and to his family. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you! In lieu of a service, a Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral homes.com.
