JAMES DARRELL RODGERS February 5, 1961 November 6, 2016 James (Jimmy) Rodgers, 55, passed away on November 6, 2016 in Kennewick, Washington. Jimmy was born in Ashland, Oregon to parents Darrell and Colette Rodgers. He worked in heavy construction which led to traveling over the states and for the past 15 years called Kenne-wick his home while employed at the City of Pasco as a Utility Locator. Being outdoors was something that was near and dear to his heart and wondered why it was sometimes hard to find family members to go to the mountains to spend endless days chopping firewood. His other passion was riding his beloved Harley Davidson. Many good times were shared with family and friends on week long outings. Jimmy always found the best in everyone and everything and was eager to lend a hand to those in need. He often mentioned how proud he was of his son and never gave up on his beloved 49ers. He is survived by his son, Brandon Rodgers; mother, Colette Rodgers; sister, Sherry Gartside and Jim; brother, Mike Rodgers; and Aunt Claudette Gannon and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nephews and other family members and friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, at 11:00 am at Riverview Heights Cemetery on the corner of 10th and Olympia in Kennewick.
