JAMES REED DUNCAN Mueller's Chapel of the Falls Funeral Home James Reed Duncan was born November 13, 1934, to David Reed Duncan and Alice Whitesides Duncan, in Clearfield, Utah. The family moved to California when Reed was a year old, then to Spokane, WA when he was ten. They moved to Pendleton and Milton-Freewater in his junior high school years. He attended high school in Milton-Freewater, OR. While living in Lewiston, he met Barbara Bowles, they were married January 30, 1954, in Clarkston, WA. He worked for Bristol Packing Co in Clarkston for a number of years then started working for Safeway in Lewiston, Idaho. He worked at Safeway in Milton-Freewater, Walla Walla, Grand Coulee and then in the Tri-Cities. He retired in 1998. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Fly fishing was a favorite past time. He also liked bowling and was proud of a 300 game. Keeping a very nice yard was very important to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Ann Duncan, Beth Herbert, David Duncan and grandson Kenneth Hearne. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 63 years, daughter Shannon Hearne (Clay), Julie Williams, Traci Duncan and Beth Doyle (Daniel). He is survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Reed loved his family and all of our fun get togethers. A Celebration of Life will be held August 2, 2017 at 1 PM, Mueller's Chapel of the Falls 314 W. 1st Ave. Kennewick, WA.
