JAMES "JIM" WILFORD SLOOT Mueller's Chapel of the Falls Funeral Home James Wilford Sloot passed away April 11th in Mesa Arizona. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. He was born 1936 in Yakima and moved to the Tri-Cities in the 50's. He worked many years at Hanford. He liked hunting, fishing, golfing, square dancing, and spending the winters in Arizona, which he did 22 winters. He is survived by his wife Marlene, 3 children Jerry (Mary), Ron (Paula), Colfax, WA. Renee (Ed) Chadron NE. Also adopted daughter Sarena and brothers' Herman (Idaho), Richard (Kennewick) sister Grace (Pasco) and several nieces and nephews. His parents and sister Betty precede him in death. He has 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at Family of Faith Church, 835 N. Neel St. Kennewick, WA. 1:00 PM May 6th and 3:00 PM interment at Desert Lawn Memorial Park 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick. In lieu of flowers donate to Parkinson research.
