JEAN TURNER Cynthia Jean Turner passed away on July 3 in Kennewick, WA after a short, but valiant battle against cancer. Jean was born in Vale OR in 1936 to Chris and Thelma Turner. While growing up on the family dairy farm west of Vale, she attended Grove Elementary and Vale Union High School. After her high school graduation she worked in the banking industry while living in Nyssa OR, Jeffersonville IN, Louisville KY, and Kennewick, making numerous friends along the way. No matter where she lived, her door was always open as was a place at her dining room table. Countless friends and relatives were lucky enough to take advantage of this and her wonderful cooking. Jean was a generous and loving person and will be sorely missed by her children Rick Hendricks (Bonnie) and Patty Melear (Pete) and by her siblings Shirley, Ruby (Bob), and Lloyd (Lene), as well as her grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her infant brother Ralph, parents Chris and Thelma, and husband Howard.
