JEANNE G WALTERS Jeanne G Walters, 72, born June 22, 1944 in Seattle, passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Benton City, Wa. on Jan 18, 2017. Jeanne was a lifetime member of Elverta Methodist Church in Elverta, CA. After working as a QA Inspector for Boeing, Bermite and Holosonics, she enjoyed working as a free-lance writer for many publications including Cycle News and Moving Out. A loving giving free spirit who loved vintage motorcycles and European sports cars, she was the driving force behind the non-profit News Wheels, Preceded in death by her mother, Lucille, and brothers Don and Freddy, survived by her sons Matthew Friestman of Austin; Daniel Friestman of Benton City; and Curtis Brownlow of San Diego; grand children Amity, Austin, Katie, Mason, Colin, Evan and Emma; and great grandchildren Jane, David, and Kinsley. A memorial celebration for family and friends is scheduled Sunday, Jan 22, 1pm at Klipsun Cottage 11190 East PR 388 NE Benton City.
