JOHN CHARLTON ANTOLICK Einan's at Sunset John Charlton Antolick passed away peacefully at Harborview Medical Center August 3, 2016 in the presence of his loving mother and sister. John was born May 18th, 1982 in Richland, Washington to Joe and Lucy Antolick. He attended Kiona-Benton High School and graduated in 2000. After high school, John attended Columbia Basin College and then joined Local 112 as an Apprentice Electrician. After graduation as a Journeyman Wireman Welder he worked on construction jobs throughout Washington, Oregon and Montana. John loved the outdoors. He was happiest spending time with family and friends riding mules through the back-country or hunting and fishing throughout the Pacific Northwest. His laugh was infectious. He had a gift for story telling and enjoyed sharing stories from his many adventures. John was a big-hearted and kind man who loved people and cherished his friendships. Despite his struggles in life he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. John was a very talented mechanic who loved working with his hands and was capable of fixing almost anything. An accomplished welder, he took first prize in a local welding competition. He found such joy in mechanical work that he would frequently build or create new and novel solutions to help the family, friends and acquaintances in his life. John will be missed by all who had the fortune to look into his smiling eyes and feel the strength of his handshake. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and for the genuinely gentle man that he was. John is survived by his mother, Lucy Antolick, grandmother Mary Antolick and sister, Kate Maciboba (Steve). He was preceded in death by his father Joe Antolick, grandfather Joe Antolick Sr. and aunt Barbara Martin. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 27th at 1pm at the Central United Protestant Church, 1124 Stevens Dr. Richland, Washington 99354. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made "In Memory of John Antolick" to Chaplaincy Health Care, 2108 W. Entiat Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336.
