JOHN DOW STONE John was born in La Grange TX March 10, 1025, but moved to Washington State as a small child. He served as a Merchant Marine during WWII. Most of his adult life was spent in Kenne-wick. During his working life, he rose from a carpenter to a project manager, building facilities in many states. In retirement, he wintered in Yuma AZ and summered in central Missouri. He survived three beloved companions - Winnie Stone (d. 1992), Polly O'Hair Stone (d.1997) and Millie Lipchak (d. April 9, 2016). John died April 17, 2016 in Washington MO. He is survived by his son John G. Stone of Kennewick (wife Barbara), granddaughter Stephanie Deford (David) and grandson Christopher Stone; his daughter Pam Mitchell (Steve) of Dallas TX, four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; a brother James Stone and twin sisters Betty Ballard and Bobbie Waters. John will be interred at Riverview cemetery
