JOHN J. MCDONALD 5/25/26-12/18/16 Columbia Memorial Chapel and Gardens John J. McDonald, 90 years of age, passed away peacefully with family at her side December 18th, 2016 at his home in Pasco, Washington. He was born in Murdo, South Dakota on May 25th, 1926 to George and Margaret McDonald. John enjoyed bowling in which he scored two 300 point games while in his 80's. John was very active with his family, making time for golfing, salmon and walleye fishing. John was a family man and loved all of his children and grandchildren, making sure to never miss a baseball game. John was also a member of Washington Tri-City Bowling Association and Moose Lodge in Yuma, Arizona. John is survived by spouse Earlene Gill-McDonald, son John J. McDonald Jr., daughter Debbie Gonsalves, Daughter Maureen Heston, daughter Margaret Spencer, son Mike McDonald, daughter Laurie Ingram, son Scott McDonald, brother George McDonald, sister Patty Frank, sister Jeannie Polido, step-daughter Pamela Dwayne Hall, and step-son Paul Gill.Preceded in Death by his spouse Sally McDonald. John retired after 23 years as a firefighter for the city of Seattle, he also wanted to thank the Pasco Fire Department for all their professional services. A memorial service will be held at Columbia Memorial Chapel and Gardens in Pasco, Washington on January 3rd, 2017 at 11:00 am. which will be followed by a graveside and Navy Honors. A reception is to follow the graveside at Pasco Moose Lodge located at 2617 W Sylvester St, Pasco, WA 99301 starting at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made to the .
