JUDY ANN BARTON

Obituary
The Guest Book is expired.

JUDY ANN BARTON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Judy Ann Barton, nee Johnson, was born on October 31,1946, in Oak Hollow, Kentucky. She passed peacefully at home on June 8, 2016, after a difficult struggle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was married to Gerald Michaelis Barton on August 4, 1967, in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She raised four wonderful boys despite her frequent claims of how bad she "damaged" them. Then when she was 53 she took on the responsibility of raising her grandson, who turned out to be a very wonderful and caring young man and returned the favor by helping care for her in her last days. Despite her self-doubts and insecurities, which kept her from attending church until recently, she never doubted her faith and was able to attend church again most of the time. She was able to stand in Sacrament Meeting the last fast Sunday she went to church and bore a powerful testimony of her faith in Christ. Just before she died she was interviewed by her bishop and received one of the biggest blessings she ever had, a new temple recommend, which she had not had for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by both parents, both of her sisters and her eldest brother. She is survived by her husband, four sons, two daughters-in-law, four granddaughters, and one grandson. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hansen Park, 8120 W. 4th Ave, Kennewick, Washington.
