JULIE RENAE HOMME Julie Renae Homme was born May 1, 1954 and passed away on April 18, 2016 with her son Ole by her side. She was the youngest of three siblings born to Lillian and Ole Homme in Kalispel, Montana. The family lived there briefly before moving to the Tri-Cities area. Her first job was at Albertson's bakery department, where she worked for many years. She met and fell in love with Mike Haggerty after graduating from Kamiakin High School in January of 1972. They were married for a short period of time. Julie was young and free-spirited, taking trips to Santa Cruz and Minnesota. She soon discovered her vocation in life was taking care of her son, Olen Reed Homme, who she loved more than life itself. After Olen was born, she took classes in accounting and earned a degree in counseling, which she excelled at. Julie battled lifelong with health problems, including 30 years involvement with AA. She counseled and was a sponsor to many who would have lost their way had it not been for Julie. She was a beacon of light to many of the people in the Tri-Cities area. Julie enjoyed crafting and made beautiful Christmas wreaths to sell at craft shows. She enjoyed watching her son Ole play sports and loved to go shopping. She was proceeded in death by her father and mother. Julie is survived by her son Olen Homme (Jennifer) and their two sons Reid and Landon of San Francisco, sister Lorae Buck of Colville, and brother Ted Homme (Kathy) of Kennewick. Also numerous nephews and cousins reside in Washington, Idaho, Florida, and Minnesota. Julie's memorial service will be held May 1, 2016 at Kennewick First Lutheran Church, Yelm & 395 at 2:00p.m.
