JUNE HENRY AMUNDSON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home June Henry Amundson, aged 80, died peacefully on November 2, 2016 at her home in Kennewick, Washington, after a long battle with COPD. June was born June 20, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Wilmer J. Henry and Juana A. Berrard. June had many accomplishments in life, some of which included raising 4 children, obtaining her Master's degree in English at the University of Texas at El Paso, and working at several colleges. She had a particular love for English literature, cooking, and caring for her pets which included many kitty cats. She was preceded in death by her son Eric Amundson and many other family members. June is survived by her devoted husband Dave Carter, her sister Ellen Henry, and her three children Christopher (Irma) Amundson, Nicole Amundson, and Doug (Pam) Amundson. She leaves behind numerous friends gained over the years. The family wishes to thank all of those closest to her throughout her many years of life and the staff of the Hospice group during her final days. No funeral services to follow.
