KIM J. JOHNSON November 24, 1957- July 15, 2016 Kim was a loyal and wonderful father, husband, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend. He lived his life out loud. Kim unexpectedly passed from this life to be with our Good Lord on Friday July 15th. He was born in Prosser, WA to Thelma & "Johnny" Johnson and lived his young life in Benton City with his two sisters, Pam & Jan. At age 10, his family moved to Kennewick where he attended Park Middle School. Kim graduated from Kennewick High School in 1976. From there Kim attended Perry Institute in Yakima and became certified in HVAC. Later, Kim became a certified Journeyman Electrician and of recent years obtained his Electrical Administrators License. He joined Garlick Enterprises in 1991 where he became an integral part of the Garlick family team and lead the Stevens Center Management operations. Kim raised his two children Eric & Vicki in the Tri-Cities, who were the center of his life. In 2000, Kim married the love of life, Trish and together their love flourished as the years passed. Having fun was a priority for Kim and his personality brought joy to those around him. He loved spending time with his family & friends as well as camping, boating & fishing. He was a avid ATV enthusiast. Kim is preceded in death by his parents, Thelma & Johnny Johnson, his sister Vicki Pearl (who died at the age of 5) and his sister Jan Castorina (who passed in 2013). He is survived in death by his loving wife Trish, his son Eric Johnson, his daughter Vicki Mack, grandson Jude Mack and sister Pam Kimbrough. A celebration of Kim's wonderful life will be held at the Hillspring Church in Richland, WA on Friday July 22nd at 4 p.m. The reception address will be provided at the service.
