LADEANA MAY PERSHALL LaDeana May Pershall (n‚e McNeal), a longtime resident of Othello and Kennewick, passed away peacefully at her home in Poulsbo, Washington on 6th December 2016. LaDeana was born on 7th February 1924 in Walla Walla, and was the only daughter of Grover and Ora McNeal of Dayton, Washington. She grew up in Dayton, graduating from Pietrzycki (now Dayton) High School in 1941. LaDeana married Kenneth Q. Pershall on her parents' farm outside of Dayton on 11th March 1945, commencing a loving partnership that was to last nearly 67 years until Kenneth's death in 2011. LaDeana was also preceded in death by brothers Elmer and Oren McNeal and is survived by her children, Nancy, Douglas and Keith, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. LaDeana was a faithful and loving wife and mother, longtime member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, in Othello, quilter and crocheter extraordinaire, late in life golfer and "co-pilot" in her and Kenneth's small airplane, and indefatigable and enthusiastic fan and supporter of her family's many and varied interests and activities. Private family services were held in Vancouver, Washington on 14th January 2017. Loved and missed by her family and friends, may LaDeana rest in eternal peace.
