LANCEY V. BOYER Hillcrest Bruce Lee Memorial Center Lancey V. Boyer was born to Roger and Helen Gilbert on June 23, 1934 at Sioux Falls, S.D. Lancey accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 8 and was baptized when she was 11. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church on 10th and Union in Kenne-wick and was a college graduate who briefly taught in Federal Way, WA. She married Edgar J. Boyer Jr, in Greeley, Colorado on June 2, 1956. Lancey is preceded in death by her parents and sister Genevieve Lionberger. She is survived by her husband Edgar Boyer, daughter Jeannine Tuttle, sons Bruce Boyer (wife Renee) and Grant Boyer; five grandchildren Isaac and Amber Evenson, Elizabeth Boyer (Tarik Bentlemsani), Benjamin Boyer (Marcela) and Melody Maynard (Shawn); great grandsons Zakir and Cedric Bentlemsani. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and playing the piano. She says she had a good life in spite of life-long pain and health problems because of knowing the Lord and having a wonderful family. I didn't know your mother, Jeannine, But Jesus does and that's what matters. We have hope and therefore, even though we grieve, we grieve with the knowledge that we will, one day soon, see or lost loved ones again. Think of you and praying for Gods comfort for you and your family.
