LAWRENCE LEE WALTON (1933 - 2017) Lawrence L. (Larry) Walton, 83, formerly of West Richland, WA, died Monday, May 22, 2017 in Uniontown, PA. Larry was born in San Diego, CA on December 21, 1933 to Delbert and Shirley (York) Walton. He was a pioneer computer programmer and his career spanned over 40 years. He worked at various times for North American and General Dynamics, and was instrumental in developing the club management system for Family Fitness Centers. He retired as an IT manager from 24 Hour Fitness. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Harlene Hinds Walton. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Teresa (Teri) Sampey Walton of Hopwood, PA; his seven children - Laurel (Bill) DeWolf of Grants Pass, OR, Lynn (Farrell) Clontz of West Richland, WA, Lawrence Walton, Jr. of Pasco, WA, Lorraine (Ed) Constantine of Washington, UT, Leanne (Don) Green of Prosser, WA, Steven (Tara) Hallett of Georgetown, TX, and Stacey (Jim) Knueppel of Idaho Falls, ID; sister Maureen Nicholason of Lakeside, CA; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Per his request, there will be no services. He was a fine and generous man, well-loved by his family and friends.
