LEROY NORMAN OLSON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home LeRoy Norman Olson, age 91, passed away April 8th, 2016 in Kennewick, Washington. He was born in Williams County, near Williston, North Dakota to Nels and Caroline Olson on September 7, 1924. He was reared and educated there doing various jobs. Moving to Oregon in 1939 where he was employed at various businesses until being inducted into the U.S. Army. LeRoy served in the military in World War II, stationed in Germany until 1946. He was employed at the Great Northern Railway in 1947. He was united in marriage to Marcella J. Roloff of McGregor, North Dakota in 1953. They made their home in Williston, North Dakota until 1990. He retired from the railroad after 40 years of service. LeRoy and Marcella moved to Kennewick, Washington after retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella, parents Nels and Caroline Olson, his brother and two sisters. He is survived by his son, Herbert of Pasco, Washington, and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 15, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick.
