LINDA ANNE GROEBER Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Linda Anne Groeber, 79 years of age and resident of Kennewick, WA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Linda was born on April 8, 1938 in Milford, MA to parents Kenneth and Eunice Rooney. She attended school in Holliston, MA and then headed to Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota for college where she met the man of her life. On September 13, 1958 Linda married Clarence Groeber in Plankinton, South Dakota. God blessed them with 53 years together, and four daughters. Together they made their first home in Othello, WA where Linda was busy with two children. She became active in the Lutheran church, volunteering with Camp Fire and working outside the home. In 1969 came a move to Richland, WA where Clarence owned and operated the Union 76 station at Columbia Center. She went on to work for the Richland School District, Volunteer Center, PIC and United Way. Linda also gave 30 years to teaching Sunday School at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Richland, being a LWML President and member, and member of the Thursday Ladies Bible study. Linda's compassion for others was displayed by her hours of service as a volunteer. Her hope for all that she served was that her words and actions, with Gods guidance, would make their life easier. She loved spending time with her family, and having wonderful family holidays. She enjoyed gardening, painting and reading. She will be missed very much by her family, friends and church. Linda is survived by three daughters, Dale, Susan (Les) and Brenda (Lance), 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, daughter Sonja and both parents. We would like to thank the Tri-City Chaplaincy Hospice House for our Mother's care. Memorial contributions may be made to Chaplaincy Hospice, Richland or Redeemer Lutheran Church. A Memorial Service will be held Friday July 21, 2017 at 1 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 520 Thayer, Richland, WA. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral
