MARY ANN JORDON Mueller's Chapel of the Falls Funeral Home Mary Ann (Stowers) Jordon, surrounded by her family, went peacefully to be with Jesus and reunite with her beloved husband in Heaven on June 13, 2017. She was born November 14, 1933, in Belleville, Illinois to James and Opal Stowers, and graduated from DuQuoin Township High School in 1952. After high school she worked for Western Union and met her future husband Jack. In 1955 she and Jack were married and together they raised two children, James and Cathie. Mary Ann was a long-time resident of Kennewick and focused on raising her family. When her children got older she decided to work outside the home and took a job at Kennewick General Hospital where she worked for many years until her retirement. Mary Ann's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children James (Emmie) Jordon and Cathie Carter, grandchildren Joshua (Tiffanie) Jordon, Jackie Nix, Diane Davey, Alex (Marisa) Carter, and Caitlin Carter, and great-grandchildren Saige, Ali, Paisley and Jordon. She is also survived by her brother, John (Shirley) Stowers, and sister's Roberta Bailey and Carol Stowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and son-in-law Mark Carter. A celebration of life will be held July 7, 2017, 1 pm, at Hillspring Church, 1153 Gage Blvd., Richland, WA 99352.
