PHYLLIS MARIE (BEAVER) FAIRBANKS (Age 74) Phyllis entered Heaven's gates on September 30, 2015 where she is pain free and running on streets of gold. She was born on September 19, 1941 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Paul and Helen Beaver. She lived most of her life in Benton City and Pasco, WA. Her last few years were spent in Spokane, WA. Phyllis loved the lord and was a member of Sunset View Baptist Church in Pasco, WA. Her greatest earthly treasures were her grandchildren! She worked many jobs including house cleaner, waitress, prep cook, and driver for Dial-a-Ride. Her post polio forced her to quit working in her late 40's. She enjoyed going to church, shopping at the Goodwill, reading, watching reality TV, and spending time with her family. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bob Beaver. She is survived by her children Vickie Allert (Dave), Jen Fairbanks, and Brian Fairbanks, her grandchildren Baylee Allert, Tanner Allert, and Julius Kusz. She is also survived by her siblings Margie Deardorff (Jim), Chuck Beaver (Lisa), Dan Beaver (Julie), and Sheila Taylor. For those of you who stayed by her side during her last days, thank you! A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 1pm at Kennewick Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kennewick Baptist Church or Hospice of Spokane.
