RICHARD ALLEN SPADT Richard Allen Spadt: born in Sheridan, Wyoming on June 28, 1932. He passed away April 12, 2017 in Richland, surrounded by family. Raised in Tri-Cities, Richard attended Kennewick schools. He served in the Natl. Guard & Navy. He was an Air Force Crew Chief on B47s and 52s & an FAA Air Worthiness Inspector. During his military years, he realized a dream, obtaining single-engine pilot license/ commercial certification. After military retirement, Richard worked as an RV repair and service technician. In 1979, he opened his own business, J-S RV Repair. He loved travel, visiting the Pacific in the Navy. In the USAF, he spent tours in England & Germany with his family. After retirement, Richard & Margit traveled to all 50 states & extensively in Europe and England. Richard was preceded in death by parents Jake Spadt and Marie Grooms, siblings Buddy, James, Gladys, and Don. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Margit; brothers Bob and Melvin; sisters Marlene, Paty, Linda and Debbie; sons David (Pat), Tom and daughters Kathy Dee (Bob), Tami (Gene), Susan (Hugh) & son-in-law Mario. He has 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 11:00 AM at Pasco 1st Lutheran Church.
