RICHARD FRANCIS GILMORE 11/11/24 - 9/16/16 Richard F. Gilmore, 91, passed away Sept. 16, 2016 in his home in Kennewick, Wa. under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Richard was born in Otis Colorado Nov.11 1924 to Clarence and Dessie Gilmore. Richard served in the United States Air Force during WW2. Richard lived and raised a family of eight children with his wife Dolores in Kenne-wick since 1968. He worked as a designer engineer in the Hanford area and spent his retirement years wood working in his beloved shop. He was a member of the Knights of the Columbus and his most passionate work involved building projects at St Joseph Catholic Church and with the Pro-Life Movement. Most will remember him for his hand made wood crucafix's. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, his wife Dolores, and son Francis. Richard is survived by his eight children: Debra (Bruce) Brines, Dean (Pam), Terry (Karen), JoLene, LaDene (Chris) Therson, Malia Graves, Father Vincent "Mark" Gilmore, and Michael (Amy); and 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (Old Church). Rosary will be at 7 pm, Wed., Sept. 21st with viewing following. Funeral Service/ Burial will be at 10 am, Thur. Sept. 22nd (Reception following at Dillon Hall)
