ROBERT ROY ALDERSON Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Robert Roy Alderson was born on November 23 1956 to George W and Evelene Alderson in Bakersfield, CA, he passed away on August 13, 2016 in Kennewick, WA. Rob enjoyed living on the farm in CA as a young boy and shared fond memories about it. The family moved to the Tri-Cities in 1972. Rob served in the Army for 3 years and returned to the Tri-Cities following his service to our country. He worked as an electronic engineer technician for the United States Postal Service in Pasco, WA. In 1995 he met a young woman at work that caught his eye and they developed a friendship that led to marriage. With the marriage came two young girls that Rob embraced as his own and cared and loved them always. Rob had a passion for life and he never did anything half way. He was very creative and often thought of ways to accomplish something that many wouldn't. Those who truly knew him knew that he always had a project in mind and was accomplished at doing anything he put his mind to. He loved the outdoors and animals to his core. He was an avid paraglider and spent many hours looking for that perfect thermal! He snow skied in the winter and camped in the summer/fall. The biggest joy for Rob in his love for outdoors was sharing the experience with those he loved. He was a bit of a dare devil to, thus his skiing nickname of "Crash". He will be missed by those on this earth, but we take joy in knowing that he was called home to God and his pain on this world has ended. He leaves behind his mother, Evie Alderson, wife Dana Alderson, daughters Codi and Samantha, sister Connie (Bob) Fritz, nephews Wesley (family) in Texas, Nathan (family) in Kennewick, Aaron (family) in Nevada and numerous cousins, nieces/nephews and friends, especially his dog Einstein. He was preceded in death by his father, George W Alderson. Services to be held Friday, August 26th, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick.
