The Guest Book is expired.

RONALD BLAND JARRETT Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Ronald Bland Jarrett was born on January 31, 1956 in Richland, WA and was welcomed into his heavenly home on August 24, 2016. As the eldest son of Coy and Velma Jarrett, Ron spent most of his life in the Tri-Cities area. He worked for Griggs Department Store while in high school and graduated from Pasco High in 1974. He enlisted in the Army shortly thereafter, and proudly served his country as a special forces communications specialist. His duties took him to all parts of Southeast Asia prior to his honorable discharge in 1980. He worked for Sandvik Special Metals prior to joining the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 598. He served a full apprenticeship, and received the highest level of Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) welding inspection certification. He travelled the nation throughout the 1980s, providing NDE support to numerous nuclear power plants. He married Debra Kunz in 1982 and later divorced. Their daughter, Kimberly Jarrett, was born in 1984. Ron followed his father's footsteps, joining Electrolux as a vacuum cleaner salesman and provided demonstrations at countless regional fairs. An avid Benton-Franklin County Fair lover, he looked forward to visiting with friends at the Electrolux booth and enjoyed many fairground concerts. His loving and loyal Dachshunds (Clean Sweep, Kirby, and Dyson) were all cleverly named after vacuum cleaners. Yard sales, boat races, buying/fixing cars, and gun collecting were other hobbies Ron enjoyed. He had a strong faith in God and attended the First Baptist Church of Pasco. His greatest joy was spending time with his family -- both locally and across the nation. He loved to give gifts and cards on special occasions, and never missed Christmas shopping at the Griggs All Night Sale. A beloved father, son, grandfather, brother and friend, his beautiful smile, mischievous laugh, and kind heart will always be treasured. Ron is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Jarrett and husband Tyson Nebeker; grandchildren Lexie and Curtis; parents Coy and Velma Jarrett; siblings Don, Peg and Jim (Tricia) Jarrett; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The Jarrett family extends a special thank-you to Loman Lyle for the lifetime of friendship and support he gave to Ron. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, WA. The family invites you to sign their online tribute wall at www.muellersfuneral homes.com.
