STANLEY JAMES RANSIER Stanley James Ransier was born July 22nd, 1947 in Walla Walla, WA to Roy and Marie Ransier. He passed away April 7th, 2017 in his home with his loving grandaughter and daughter-in-law by his side. He graduated from Pasco High School. He entered the United States Army in 1966 and did two tours in the Vietnam War. On July 28th, 1972 he was discharged from the Army. Stan worked for Kennewick Police Department from 1972-1977 in which he then went to Saddle Maker Apprentiship School in Spokane. He worked for the Benton County Sheriffs and DOC. He retired from Benton-Franklin County Superior Court as a Baliff. On the side and in his spare time he was a custom saddle maker. Stan lost the love of his life of 29 years in August of 2016. Their retirement was cut way too short. Stan enjoyed his breakfast at Magills two to three times a week, they were apart of his family. He would also meet up with his old friends at the Airport cafe once or twice a week. He spent his retirement years traveling and fishing with his best friend and loving wife and their dog Duke. His grandaughter Kaelene would go camping and fishing with them. She was a huge part of their lives. She talked to her Grandpa daily.They truly had an amazing relationship, she was blessed to have such wonderful grandparents. He is survived by his sister Linda (Ransier) Strickland and her husband ; his sons Harlan Hall; Gregory Ransier and his wife; Raymond Ransier and his wife; Granddaughters Kaelene Ransier; Courtney Hall; Taylor Hall; Darby Ranser; Tawney Ransier; and numerious Aunts, Uncles, Nephews and Cousins, along with more friends than you can count. He is proceeded by his loving wife Susie and parents Roy & Marie. A Graveside service will be held Friday April 14th, 2017 @ 3:00pm.
