THELMA LOUISE (SIZEMORE) COLLINS Thelma Louise Collins, 79, of Poulsbo, WA was born April 16, 1937 in Seminole, Oklahoma and passed away with her loved ones at her side on February 15, 2017 at the Brookdale Memory Care Unit. Thelma attended Prosser High School. She married Phillip Collins December 5, 1954 in Prosser, WA. Thelma was a devoted homemaker who loved her family. Thelma lived in Prosser for 25 years, Benton City for 12 years prior to moving to Silver Lake in 1974. She then lived in Kelso, WA for the past 32 years. Thelma enjoyed bowling, square dancing, ceramics, crafts, reading, feeding her birds, and caring for her flowers, but most of all she loved her family. She loved to travel. Thelma enjoyed watching sporting events, her soap operas and game shows. She always had a warm meal ready and a hot pot of coffee for her family and friends. Thelma also enjoyed going to her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's ball games, musicals, dance recitals and school events. Thelma is survived by three children: daughter- Connie Collins of Suquamish, WA and two sons Phillip Collins Jr. of Sterling, Alaska and Donald Collins of Rainier, OR; two brothers: Taylor Sizemore of Port Orchard, WA and Charles Sizemore of Poulsbo, WA; three sisters: Linda Mortimore of Springfield, OR., Margie Goehring of West Richland, WA and Ella Adams of Gig Habor, WA and four grandchildren, April Adams of Suquamish, WA, Ryan Collins of Kelso, WA , Amy Brack of Vancouver, WA and Brandon Collins of Longview, WA; seven great grandchildren and one great- great- granddaughter. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of almost sixty years Phillip Collins, parents Taylor and Lola (Haris) Sizemore, three siblings: Marie Ripplinger, Della Foxx and Bill Sizemore and a granddaughter Anne Adams. The funeral will be held Saturday 25th of February at 11 a.m. at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park and Crematory. A potluck dinner will follow, held at the Longshoreman's Union Hall, Longview, WA to celebrate the life of Thelma.
