THOMAS MERLYN HALL Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Thomas Merlyn Hall was born December 7, 1913 and passed away October 23, 2016. He was born on the family farm near Edgar, Nebraska. He moved to a farm north of Burlington, Colorado in 1924. Graduated high school in 1931 and married his wife, Myrtle, in 1935. They ran a chicken hatchery in Burlington from 1935-1937. They moved to Limon, Colorado in 1937, where he helped his father build a grain elevator, and some wooden bridges in the area. In 1939, he moved to Lakewood, Colorado and helped his father build houses until US government halted the work due to war needs. He then worked for Remington Arms Co., in Denver, Colorado in 1943. He moved to Richland in 1944 to work for Dupont on the Manhattan Project. He worked in the nuclear industry at Hanford from 1944 to 1979. He then did consulting work for United Nuclear. He moved to Kennewick in 1954 and lived there until his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle and his son, Morris. He is survived by his youngest son, Gerald (Jerry). He enjoyed traveling the world and working in the garden. He was an inspiration to us all, and was there for us whenever needed. He will always be loved and missed. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 11:00 am., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick.
